Tania ReytanBorn to a Jewish mother and Bulgarian father, both of active antifascist background during WWII, Tania Reytan currently lives in Bulgaria and is a free lance lecturer, researcher and project manger. She is adjunct professor at Plovdiv University and intercultural trainer of diverse local and international civil society groups. In 2009 she organized in Sofia the 5th Bet Debora Conference on “Migration, Communication and Home: Jewish Tradition, Change and Gender in a Global World” and edited the conference collection, published in 2011. In 2011 she organized in Bulgaria jointly with Boston and Plovdiv Universities the 7th International Summer School on Religion and Public Life (see: www.issrpl.org). In 2013 she is part of the affiliated with the ISSRPL, 1stBalkan Summer School on Religion and Public Life’ organization.
